Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking

 

Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking is one of Bali’s most popular adventure experiences, offering a breathtaking view of the sunrise from the summit of an active volcano. 

It’s an early morning hike up Mount Batur (elevation: 1,717 meters / 5,633 feet), an active volcano located in the Kintamani region of Bali. Trekkers begin their ascent in the dark to reach the summit before dawn and witness the spectacular sunrise over Lake Batur and Mount Agung.

Trekking Schedule

• Start Time: Around 2:00–3:30 AM (hotel pickup)

• Hike Start: ~4:00 AM

• Sunrise: ~6:00 AM

• Return: ~9:00–10:00 AM
